The Civil Society Forum on Drugs has prepared a set of comments on the EU Drug Strategy and Action Plan and recommendations regarding the critical areas of interest in implementing the EU drug policies.
These include a ‘balanced approach’ to policy formulation and implementation, the inclusion of human rights related issues, the need to include a priority on monitoring the EU Drug Strategy, the role of harm reduction, addressing the problems emerging in prison settings or the attention given to marginalised individuals and communities, among others.
